The company best known for its role-playing games came out with its own take on Sommelier, publishing Wine no Hajimekata DS later in 2007 -- and it shipped with an actual bottle of wine. Really, actual alcohol was sold bundled with a Nintendo game. If you try to tell me there's a more bizarre idea than that out there, you're crazy. The wine-included bundle was limited to the first 1,000 copies sold, and included a bottle of the French red, Dourthe No. 1. But Square Enix later followed up with an additional promotion for the game, offering a bonus bottle of Casillero del Diablo Cabernet Sauvignon (Devil's Wine) to registered Square Enix community members. Insane.
