halo wars release date announced

After preliminary date announcements this month Microsoft has confirmed a date for its next huge cash-cow release, Halo Wars. The new title in the ridiculously popular franchise will hit stores in America on March 3rd, 2009. Apparently this falls just short of the originally predicted date of February 2009. Asian, African and European countries will see the game drop a few days earlier. Microsoft also took the opportunity to remind everyone that the Special Edition for $79.99 will come with all sorts of awesome bonus goodies, as special editions usually do. I can only imagine that the North American launch of this game will see epic numbers of attendees, even if some of them will have already somehow managed to play imported versions of the game, as per some reader comments.
